Plane leafs
fell like stars crossing the summer night sky;
effortlessly.
The wind was mellow, but grew stronger as time passed
and seawaves occasionally touched our toes.
There were white bedsheets
flying in the air, yet staying immobile;
an alternate sea of stability.
We reached for the crisp air
our tongues thirsty
our senses seeking completion;
one arm extended to the North
another holding on to the night-blooming jasmine
the body torn apart and reconjured by the exceeding imagery.
As the night progressed and devoured the mind's capacity
I thought I saw people having climbed on the castle's edge;
silhouettes in secret
waving goodbye to a season's end.
