To fall

Read the years away, the absolute departures and the mistaken choices. Read life as a story the same for every child, read my hands as they move in narration and all the unknown you haven't yet met. And read a fall wrecked at first attempt but reworked; read a fall that happens without hurting. Learn, first of all, to fall. April 2016, Piraeus.

A day's end

The night holds a hostage of your heart; as you leave to go home the kids play their balls and adults stroll the port; you find peace in the awaiting. The people ease their thoughts; the orange lights oranges alike floating the sea the same fruit for every meal the same dream; falls asleep away and is gone. Midnight and you ‘ve seen both sides of the world; from which there is no escape. Afterhours; sunk hopes found arisen by the dock.  April 18, 2016, Port of Piraeus.
